GLOBAL STUDENT JOURNEY REGULATION
Saint Claire Academy – Institutional Activation
This Regulation establishes the conditions for participating in the Global Student Journey activation, promoted by Saint Claire Academy, CNPJ 56.088.723/0001-49, during the brand's activation period at Balneário Camboriú Shopping.
Participation in this action implies knowledge, agreement, and full acceptance of the rules described herein.
CHAPTER I – GENERAL PROVISIONS
Art. 1 The Global Student Journey is a recreational, institutional, and educational activity, designed to introduce the universe of Saint Claire Academy to families through playful and interactive experiences aimed at children and adolescents.
§1 The participating public will receive a Saint Claire Passport, in which they will collect stamps after completing the activities.
§2 The action is of a non-commercial, non-competitive, and non-classifying nature, except in the case of the cultural contest provided for in this Regulation.
Art. 2 Participation in the Global Student Journey does not establish a consumer relationship between the participants and Saint Claire Academy, as it is a free, recreational, and institutional activity, without any offer of educational products or services.
CHAPTER II – PERIOD, LOCATION, AND OPERATIONAL CHANGES
Art. 3 The activation will take place between June 18 and August 17, in the institutional space of Saint Claire Academy located at Balneário Camboriú Shopping.
§1 The children's schedule will run on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, during previously disclosed hours.
§2 Saint Claire Academy may change dates, times, activities, dynamics, or capacity limits due to:
I – operational reasons;
II – technical reasons;
III – weather conditions;
IV – safety reasons;
V – force majeure.
§3 Changes will be communicated through the official channels available on-site or via digital media.
CHAPTER III – PARTICIPATING PUBLIC
Art. 4 The age classification in Brazil is subject to specific legal frameworks:
Children: 0 to 12 years old (Law No. 8,069/1990);
Adolescents: 12 to 18 years old (Law No. 8,069/1990);
Youth: 15 to 29 years old (Law No. 12,852/2013);
Civil capacity (majority): from 18 years old (Law No. 10,406/2002, art. 5);
Adults: 29 to 60 years old;
Elderly: from 60 years old (Law No. 10,741/2003).
§1 The activity under this Regulation is aimed at the following target audience:
I – children from 3 to 12 years old;
II – adolescents from 12 to 14 years old.
§2 Participation requires mandatory accompaniment by a legal guardian during the entire stay in the space.
§3 Registration will only be valid upon formalization by the legal guardian, with full acceptance of this Regulation, without reservations or exceptions.
CHAPTER IV – REGISTRATION AND PARTICIPATION
Art. 5 To participate, the child and adolescent (target audience) must:
I – register via a digital form or in person at the activation space;
II – pick up the Saint Claire Passport at the accreditation counter;
III – participate in the proposed experiences;
IV – collect the corresponding stamps;
V – present the completed passport for validation.
§1 The granting of stamps is the sole responsibility of the organization's team.
§2 Registration does not guarantee participation in case of maximum capacity, delay, absence, or operational impossibility.
CHAPTER V – JOURNEY EXPERIENCES
Art. 6 The Global Student Journey comprises three experiences:
I – The Wisdom of the Ocean – storytelling and symbolic connection;
II – The Power of Knowledge – experimentation and discovery circuit;
III – The Vision of a Leader – creative and expressive workshop.
§1 The organization may adapt formats, replace activities, or adjust dynamics due to operational necessity, safety, or availability.
§2 The experiences are recreational and educational, with no evaluation or competition.
CHAPTER VI – JOURNEY GIFT
Art. 7 Upon completing the circuit and presenting the fully stamped passport, the child or adolescent will be eligible to receive 1 exclusive plush toy, while supplies last.
§1 Stock is limited to 150 units, distributed in order of completion.
§2 A maximum of 1 plush toy per CPF of the guardian of the participating child or adolescent is allowed.
§3 Once stock runs out, the activity may continue without entitlement to the gift.
§4 The gift is free, non-transferable, and non-convertible into cash or other benefits.
CHAPTER VII – CULTURAL CONTEST – NAME THE MASCOT
Art. 8 Participating children and adolescents may suggest a name for the Saint Claire Academy mascot by submitting it via a digital form provided by the organization.
§1 Participation is entirely voluntary, unpaid, non-mandatory, and will not condition participation in other Global Student Journey activities.
§2 Merely participating does not create any expectation of rights, future advantages, financial compensation, or contractual relationship with the institution.
§3 Submitting a suggestion implies full, unequivocal, and irrevocable acceptance of this Regulation.
I – creativity;
II – brand alignment;
III – originality;
IV – phonetic quality;
V – connection with the institutional universe.
§1 In the event of identical names, the first recorded suggestion will prevail, based on the system's date and time.
§2 The decision of Saint Claire Academy is sovereign, final, unappealable, and not subject to administrative or judicial dispute.
§3 The institution is not required to justify its internal evaluation criteria, nor to disclose scores, opinions, or analyses.
§4 Saint Claire Academy may choose not to select any name if it deems that none of the suggestions meet the institutional criteria, without this generating any right to compensation or indemnity.
Art. 10 The child or adolescent responsible for the chosen suggestion will receive 1 pair of tickets to the Oceanic Aquarium, sent digitally via WhatsApp.
§1 The guardian will have 7 consecutive days to confirm receipt and validate the necessary information.
§2 Saint Claire Academy is not responsible for incorrect, incomplete, or outdated data, lack of response, network unavailability, blocked messages, or any technical impossibility of contact.
§3 If contact cannot be established within the deadline, the institution may select another suggestion, with no obligation to compensate the originally selected participant.
§4 The prize is personal, non-transferable, non-convertible into cash, and does not generate any additional rights.
§5 Participation in the contest does not create any employment, artistic, authorial, or contractual link with the institution.
CHAPTER VIII – TRANSFER OF RIGHTS OVER THE SUGGESTED MASCOT NAME
Art. 11 By submitting a suggestion, the legal guardian declares and warrants that:
I – the suggestion is original, does not violate third-party rights, and does not infringe copyright, trademarks, business names, or intellectual property;
II – they assume full responsibility for any claims made by third parties;
III – they will indemnify the institution should the submitted suggestion cause any losses resulting from copyright or intellectual property infringement.
Art. 12 The guardian authorizes Saint Claire Academy to use the suggested name, as described below, in a broad and unrestricted manner:
I – free of charge;
II – permanently;
III – fully;
IV – exclusively;
V – irrevocably and irreversibly;
VI – globally (in any country);
VII – for an indefinite period;
VIII – in any present or future medium.
§1 This authorization includes, without limitation:
I - institutional materials;
II - advertising campaigns;
III - social media;
IV – products;
V – characters;
VI - printed and digital materials;
VII – activations;
VIII – events;
IX – licensing;
X – merchandising;
XI - derived products.
§2 The assignment of rights is granted without any remuneration, compensation, royalties, financial participation, or additional right, present or future.
§3 The participant and their guardian expressly waive any subsequent copyright, proprietary, or moral claims, compensation, profit-sharing, or any other benefit.
§4 Saint Claire Academy may alter, adapt, abbreviate, combine, or modify the suggested name without the need for further consultation or authorization.
§5 The institution is under no obligation to use the winning name and may discard it at any time without this generating any rights for the participant.
Art. 13 The participant and their guardian recognize that the creation of the mascot, its visual identity, personality, story, and other elements are the exclusive property of Saint Claire Academy, and no co-authorship, co-ownership, or creative contribution arises from the name suggestion.
Art. 14 Participation in the contest does not create any expectation of profit, advantage, future prize, employment, continuity of the action, or any additional obligation for the institution.
Art. 15 Saint Claire Academy will not be liable under any circumstances for:
I – pain and suffering, property damage, loss of profits, or consequential damages;
II – unmet expectations;
III – technical unavailability of systems;
IV – internet, electricity, or device failures;
V – errors in sending or receiving messages;
VI – subjective interpretations of the selection criteria.
Art. 16 Saint Claire Academy is not responsible for the subjective expectations of participants or guardians regarding the dynamics, format, duration, aesthetics, content, or outcomes of the activities.
Art. 17 Saint Claire Academy is not responsible for failures, interruptions, delays, or unavailability resulting from services provided by third parties, including, but not limited to: the shopping mall, suppliers, partners, internet provider, electricity provider, or communication systems.
CHAPTER IX – PERSONAL DATA AND THE GENERAL DATA PROTECTION LAW (Law No. 13,709/2018 - LGPD)
Art. 18 For registration of the participating public, the following may be requested:
I - name and WhatsApp number of the guardian;
II - name and age of the child or adolescent;
III - preferred date/time;
IV - name suggestion (when applicable);
V - authorizations for participation, contact, and image use.
§1 The data will be used for:
I – organizing the action;
II – registration confirmation;
III – communicating with guardians;
IV – validating participation and prizes;
V – safety and operational control.
§2 Treatment will comply with the LGPD and the principles of necessity, purpose, and transparency.
CHAPTER X – USE OF IMAGE, VOICE, AND RECORDINGS
Art. 19 During the Global Student Journey activation, at any time and regardless of communication, notice, or scheduling, photographic and audiovisual recordings of the space, activities, and participation of the children, adolescents, their legal guardians, and families may be made.
§1 Registration constitutes explicit authorization for the use of the image, voice, and audiovisual recordings of the participating child and adolescent, as well as their families, for institutional, promotional, and marketing purposes of Saint Claire Academy, including social networks, website, digital media, printed materials, institutional presentations, and campaigns related to the activation or the organizing institution.
§2 The organizing institution is exempt from any present or future liability arising from the authorized use resulting from the registration of the child or adolescent to participate in the Global Student Journey activation.
§3 For the avoidance of doubt, it is understood for all purposes that the act of registering to participate in the activation constitutes formal agreement, unequivocal knowledge, and express authorization to Saint Claire Academy to use the rights to the image of the participant and their legal guardian to illustrate publicity and advertising for the educational institution, the distribution and display of which may occur through any and all vehicles, processes, or communication and marketing media present or future.
§4 Authorization is granted on an irrevocable, irreversible, and free basis, with Saint Claire Academy free from the payment of any dues to the participating child or adolescent and their legal guardians at any time and under any pretext for the use of their image.
§5 Authorization for image use is granted on an irrevocable and irreversible basis and cannot be revoked subsequently, even if the participant ceases to attend the activation or the institution.
CHAPTER XI – RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE LEGAL GUARDIAN
Art. 20 The legal guardian must accompany the child or adolescent during their entire stay in the space.
§1 The school is not responsible for unaccompanied children or adolescents.
§2 The organization may bar participation in the event of inappropriate conduct or safety risks.
